Enrich Yourself and Your Community
Through Fraternity and Sorority Life at UC
Fraternities and sororities provide lasting friendships, strong academic support, a solid network, as well as valuable lessons in how to lead and serve. The UC Fraternity and Sorority Community consists of 22 fraternities and 11 sororities, all of them inter/nationally affiliated. Our members are truly dedicated to academic excellence, leadership, ritual, brotherhood and sisterhood, community service, mentoring, networking, and personal development.
Fraternity and sorority life has been part of the University of Cincinnati since 1840. The fraternity/sorority community hosts 33 inter/nationally affiliated chapters, each with a broad emphasis on scholarship, leadership, community service and the personal development of its members. Chapters have active schedules, ranging from service projects to weekly meetings, social events to member retreats. Many fraternity and sorority members are involved in many facets of campus life and contribute to the greater Cincinnati community. Some of our more distinguished UC alumni were members of fraternities and sororities during their time as undergraduates.
